A bit disappointed about McWilliams leaving as I always thought he was very solid defensively and certainly our best left back last season. I'm worried now in case we're relying on Swain as cover for Parker.

Yes, sad to see him go. Incidentally, isn't it time our official site (which is much improved), updated the first team squad details?

Thought he did well for us. Good luck to him (but not against us, of course).

Re: Released / Retained List 2015-16 season
Hello, anyone out there? Has a new forum started and no-one's told me? First pre-season game tomorrow (bring it on!) and dead silence.
Anyway, went to see Guiseley v Bradford City on Saturday (desperate for football!). Not a bad game, only pre-season I know but I was impressed by Guiseley. Have to say I'm surprised they allowed Guiseley in the National Premier. Its a pleasant little ground, but seems barely changed from the last time I went about 3 years ago. Some smart new railings, and a very basic bit of terracing behind one goal (oh, and a new catering facility!). Nothing against Guiseley at all, but their ground still looks more like an Evo-Stik Premier ground than National North. No wonder Ferriby were allowed to go up!

Ryan Fallowfield has stepped up a league with Ferriby, good luck to the lad....

Pleased for Fallowfield. I suspect Ferriby will really struggle in the National League, but maybe they will do a Guiseley and survive.

Re: Released / Retained List 2015-16 season
Can't see it Paul, with the loss of manager and half the team but hope they enjoy it and who knows. Seeing their fixture list should just make us want it even more.
Going to be extremely tough but we have had a good closed season with transfers, friendlies and stepping up calibre as time goes along make sense.
Down to the manager and back room team to gel them and get 110% out of the entire team, not just the ones playing.
Going to take everyone pitching in including the 12th person!
Forza town!
