Anyone who went to Alrincham want to give us their views? Could not make it in the end (poorly). Sounds eventful. Some thoughts: why were Pell and Picton on the bench, still don't understand this. we have conceded 8 goals in 2 games since Brough, White and Bolland and Liburd were brought in to 'strenghten' the defence: in what sense have they improved the team?
We had a while back, the nucleus of a settled team emerging: Cook, Darville, Radcliffe, Picton, Pell, Ross, Wilson, Turnbull, Brayson...9 players at least. Then Ross leaves, Darville is allowed to go, Wilson loses his place, Picton and Pell are in and out on a seemingly arbitrary basis. And have results improved? No.
The manager seems to disrupt the team on a regular basis as a cover for his own failings. Yes we have had some injuries, but most have been long term (Adam, Stimpson, Elliot etc.), and all teams have injuries in any case. Please don't use that as an excuse on Wednesday Simon!
We are in real trouble again now: Saturday becomes a real (cliche alert!) six pointer, and Hinckley scored 5 against Staly on Saturday
