    Pitch Perfect Empty Pitch Perfect

Post by Innocent Bystander Wed Oct 23, 2013 9:44 am

not a reference to town's performance last night .... although the increased tempo, energy and willingness to attack was most welcome...
but despite several days of persistent rain the pitch last night looked and played superbly - barely a scratch on it at the end
Congrats and huge thanks to Jim Hague and his team of curators

I must admit, for the pitch to hold out, under the recent weather, we are the envy of a lot of clubs in our League and the League above.

Its just a shame that we wont get a chance to show it off fully, unless we go far in the FA Trophy.

I think by bringing back the chips it would show the fans that the club cares...Would certainly get my vote.

Yes, still no sign of the McCain sponsorship coming in.

Agree though, we've got some great grass now.
