Result! If that doesn't build momentum nothing will! Bring on FC Utd!

Errm. Stalybridge on Tuesday - they have just won 3-0 at the Boston Loan Company.

Massive result today. Up to 3rd now. We can't blow it now surely? Boston defeat fantastic for us. Tough on Tuesday, but this year's team is different class.

Ordering a takeaway in celebration. Will make MOTD so much sweeter. Still got big games against Nuneaton, a double header against Stalybridge and also Boston and AFC Flyde. Plus the result away at FC Utd doesn't mean anything is in the bag. Still got to revel in today's shoreline. Big big statement!

Didn't someone once say (or maybe more than once) "there are no easy games in this league".
One good thing about that is, it does not just refer to Town, but everybody else.
Anybody fancy going from Fylde to Lowestoft on Tuesday night for example?

Just hope some freak results get thrown up for everybody but us. Still plenty of games to go but a solid run in would do my nerves the world of good!

Re: Could be a perfect day?
Ellis was massive today !
Ferriby must have had 10 attempts at goal in the second half (strong wind at their backs) all wayward due mainly to Town's superb pressure defence but maybe also a little to Ferriby's inability to fire on goal.

Fantastic win. Gave as good as we got in the physical battles. New lad at the back had a great afternoon and was not intimidated or outplayed, despite his slight physique. Just goes to show that if you have the talent and the right attitude, you don't have to have a team full of 6ft+ players.

YES! When should I start arranging the coach?
What a massive result today. Dominated them from start to finish. Every player in a Town shirt gave 100%. Fans astonishing again. We are growing. 49 on coach of which 6 were new to the Town experience and now booked on for Stalybridge.
We're on our waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

Re: Could be a perfect day?
Just checked out the message board for North Ferriby to see what the fans views were. Covered in dust with nothing going on! Seems like a load of enthusiasm is building, good things going on off the pitch and a team giving there all on the pitch! Get in!

Enough spin to make even Shane Warne blush. They were found out today on their own pitch in perfect conditions for their aerial assault. Referee gave us absolutely nothing at all, yet kept giving them soft free kicks which of course were always going to be launched, not to mention every throw-in in our half.
If their keeper hadn't pulled off the double save of the season in the second half, it probably would have been a lot more comfortable.
Felt like a home game thanks to the travelling support.

Special words of praise to the young left back who gave a superb display of showing you dont need to be 6 ft plus to play really well. He gave as much as he took from their physical approach . Keep playing like that and he will have a good career ahead of him . Now onwards to Stalybridge where we dont normally get many points .

Re: Could be a perfect day?
awsome day - think we need to start booking a double decker at this rate!!
That was the best defensive display I have seen at town, the tactics were absolutely spot on. Right from the front, Clayts hustled them and the defence were man mountains. They are one dimensional, I can see why they beat alot of teams but they played into Ellis and Brown's hands with the long ball stuff.
Echo the words about the left back, he looks like he has it all, the touch, the strength and will grow. There was one moment where they got one on one and out of nowhere he got back to make two world class tackles.
Again Kerry stood out too, what a player he is turning out to be, but this was a collective effort, everyone played their part and let us not forget some of the saves Crook made.
Just the supporters letting us down yesterday, it was like been in a library ha!
