Telford are doomed, as are Dartford and Nuneaton. Obviously Dartford will be in the south but I guess the others will be in the North.

If the last one is Southport or Alfreton they will move into our league and Lowescroft will move back to the south I assume. If its Aldershot it means it will be two and two for the North/ South which is the easiest.

Personally I think Barrow and Flyde going up will be the best if we are going for the league. Also it would be nice seeing Guisley fail again Very Happy

Colwyn Bay and Gloucester are looonnnnggg away days so that would be fine with them going. Its a shame Hyde have already gone but that's football. I have personally always liked Stalybridge but I don't know why!

FCUM getting promotion is exciting as it seems like we have been looking at them for ages regarding promotion. Not bothered about the others though

Workington would be a schlep. Hopefully one of the teams a bit closer to home will win the Evostik play-offs.

    Table updated

Conference - Bottom four all lost, Alfreton got an unlikely point against league leaders Barnet to start to cut off the teams in the relegation zone. Southport continued their good run beating Torquey.

Conference North Top - Chorley smashed Tamworth 6-0 to move into the playoffs. Elsewhere Barrow and AFC Flyde were held to a goalless draw's with BPA and Gainsborough respectively. Boston United beat Worcester and Hednesford lost to Oxford.

Conference North Bottom - Colwyn Bay beat Brackley 1-0 to send them into the relegation zone. Also Leamington drew with Stalybridge Celtic in the other bottom of the league encounter.

Northern Premier -Weather took its toll on the top of the league this week. FCUM's game was postponed due to an waterlogged pitch while Ashton were forced to abandon their game due to the rain. Ilkeston FC beat Skelmersdale United to put a dent in Skelmersdale's playoff push. Curzon Ashton smashed Matlock 0-3 and Workington lost to Buxton.

FCUM doing their best to throw the league away but still have a game in hand over Workington in second and are two points clear.

Alfreton are back in the relegation zone meaning they could be joining us in the CN next season along with Nuneaton and Telford.

Could mean we lose an additional two teams from the CN as a result of them being shifted south.

What happens to FC United at this stage every season? they should already have secured promotion, but are in danger of having to play in the play offs, if they are not careful. And they always fail there! I'd love to see them in our league next season.

North Ferriby United are up for sale. Their current owners, the Allam family, believe they have taken them as far as they can. Bad news for Ferriby fans.

If the North Ferriby story is true,it does not surprise me. The Allams,as some will know, also own Hull city. They have been at loggerheads with the council and the fans over such things as the ground ownerships and name changes for two seasons now. North Ferriby might have to off load players ? Bolder/Jarman/Kendall and Peat for the revolving door perhaps ? Razz

I would imagine so. Whilst Gloucester is probably the most southern team, it has got good transport links so is likely to stay in the north.

Conference - Alfreton drew 2-2 with Welling and Southport drew with Grimsby by the same scoreline. Going into the last day the final relegation spot is still undecided! Southport play Welling in a relegation battle and Alfreton play Bristol Rovers and need Welling to lose and to get a result

Conference North Top - The top 5 all secured playoff places with the results yesterday. Guisley beat Chorley, perhaps a confidence booster if they meet in the playoffs while the other four all recorded wins. The final weekend will decide the winner between Barrow (who will take it with a win vs Lowestoft) and AFC Flyde who play Gloucester. Flyde also have a much better goal difference.

Conference North Bottom - Another team leaves our league after Leamington's draw at North Ferriby. But once again the final relegation place goes down to the final day. Colwyn Bay`s disappointing 1-0 defeat against Lowestoft Town leaves them currently occupying the final relegation spot, two points behind Stalybridge and Brackley, although Celtic have a game in hand against Bradford Park Avenue on Tuesday.

Northern Premier - FC United of Manchester moved ever closer to winning the title after a 3-1 win against relegation-threatened Stamford AFC at Bower Fold on Saturday. They have a game in hand and a superior goal difference, now need just one point to realistically seal the title. They play Stourbridge on Tuesday night and if they lose they have to go to second-placed Workington AFC next Saturday to decide the title!

Workington maintained their challenge with a good 3-0 win at the New Manor Ground against Ilkeston FC. Ilkeston may miss out on the playoffs to Blyth Spartens who after losing are four points behind but have a game in hand.

FC United need one more point, need it next game, otherwise its do or die against Workington (away) Saturday, I can see them losing that.

Conference North - Guiseley and Stalybridge both lost there game in hand

Northern Premier - As Jordan says FCUM are promoted (good away game) and Blyth also won there game in hand to move closer to the playoffs. Also Ashton won, not that it matters really other then momentum for the playoffs

Curzon Ashton beat Ilkeston today to sure their place in the CN next season.

Guiseley will meet Chorley in the playoff final meaning that AFC Fylde and Boston will remain in our league.

Boston away is a great day out. From a selfish view, glad they're staying although they'd deserve to go up more than Chorley.
