We usually take a few down to Gainsborough!
And in recent years have come away with all the points!

Anyone making the trip down to what has in effect become a “local derby” for this league?

I went last year was a good atmosphere and of course we bagged a win, shame I can't make it!

If I can get my act together I will try and make it, as you say almost a local derby these days! Three yorkshire clubs and Staly are about the only others within reasonable distance (Droylsden is a nightmare by public transport!).

I am booked on the bus and really looking forward to it. I really like Gainsborough ground, traditional old ground. The town centre is a bit tatty and a decent pub is hard to find ! Hope to see as many as you down there. Cannot wait for tomorrow though. Predict a 2 - 1 win with a 500+ crowd, BPA will bring quite a few so should be a good occasion. How good does the clubhouse look ?

Some fans even made the trip to Ireland pre-season!

I can confirm that, I was one of them! Sadly chickening out of the delights of 'British Rail' today, weather lousy and I guess we can't guarentee the game will be on. So its Radio York (if I can pick it up in darkest Leeds) for me. Comev on Town, another away win...we have the quality.

Who knows, maybe we're just a better team at away games!
