Good that there is a game coming straight after Saturday. Interesting to see how the youngsters respond to their first defeat. Beesley scored twice Saturday...

Cracking result, after going down to 10. I definitely feared the worst but to be fair the lads all dug in and gave 100 percent.

Have to say both teams were pretty poor on the night, ball was given away far too often and a distinct lack of quality from both teams but a cracking header from Speight from the Franks Long throw gives us the points.

Well worth the trip to see us take 3 points home. Happy days.

We played ugly, but still got the win, and up to 12th in the table now.

A big thumbs up for those supporters who made the trip to Gainsborough.

It was a surprise to see Speight score, but he has already done enough to damage his reputation with the fans. He would do well to amend his attitude and show Simon why he should start every game. But I get the impression he is just an overpaid, nancy boy who thinks he is something special. Like several other higher paid members of the squad (we all know who they are).

Great result for the team after Saturday. After going down to 10 men, they could have easily let their heads drop.

Goal came from a Franks long throw. Great powerful header in to the corner from about the penalty spot by Speight.

No the greatest game of football to watch but the result made it a worthwhile trip.

Great win! I must be honest I thought we would lose last night, so really good that we buckled down and scrapped for the 3 points, good teams do have to do that sometimes. That's now 2 goals from 2 Franks throw ins in 2 games. And Speight is on a roll...well, maybe not!

Really looking forward to Saturday now.

I must admit, I am also looking forward to Saturday. Hopefully we will get another 3 points on the board and get a good attendance to the game also.

I can feel the Kop of Fear warming it's vocal chords as we speak.......
