Re: Corby match
Cracking performance! Was worried when they brought it back to 3-2 but were so good going forward today!
It just shows what we can do if we get the ball down and play football unlike the last 2 games when we kept pumping it long!
Chib Chilaka took his goals brilliantly and is so hard to knock off the ball!
Tom Platt was brilliant, looks like we've got a real quality youngster in, scored and dominated the midfield with some tough tackling and drives forward with the ball.
Bolland also took his goal well, Brassie deserved a goal, Youhill impressive and Lee Elam even looked decent at right back for most of the 2nd half!
Get in there!
Keep it up lads!

Re: Corby match
Very pleased with the scoreline last night. I wasnt there due to my self imposed exile, but was very pleased to see the final score as 6-2 to Town.
The only negative is that Vauxhall beat Eastwood away 4-2....

Re: Corby match
Sick as the proverbial you know what! All set to go last night, had my flask of coffee made , and then changed my mind. Bummer Still a fantastic victory, I was checking Phil Harrison's excellent book last night: first time we have scored 6 in the league since April 2002 (we did get 6 against BPA in the WRCC). Almost 10 years!
Another hat trick for Chib, I hope Irving and co. are prepared to dig deep into their pockets to keep him next season..full time? Don't let him go a second time!
Still, I wasn't the only one who missed it, just 175 there.
PLEASE lads save a few goals for Saturday

Re: Corby match
At the last minute, I decided to go (well there was knack-all on the tv to interest me). And I'm REALLY glad I did. Was expecting a dull match with Corby running out winners. But we looked a different class all together. Are they really mid table because on that showing we should be up in the playoffs.
As j2012 says,we didn't keep hoofing the ball up and look what happened.
Only downside for me was not seeing Bolland's goal - sorry but my bladder got the better of me...blame my age.
Now Mr Weaver, work out what went RIGHT last night and make sure it's repeated.
