Don't mean to be pessimistic, but, we are going to get turned over?

A real humdinger !
The only player in their line up who I fear is Danny Holland even if he has lost some pace. He is clever enough to drop off, pick up the ball and cause our nervous defence some problems, especially at Halifax.
It would help if we turned up as a team as well ! They will certainly be up for it.
Please play the ball into feet so we can bring our midfield into games and hold onto possession, instead of knocking in panicked long balls. The odd one one over the top maybe, but predictability is the mark of an average team in this level. The keeper using his full backs would also be welcome. We really need a good performance on Saturday otherwise I'll need to wear rubber pants at the Shay.

Danny Holland is getting better game by game for us, him & James Dean upfront or putting goals in for fun lately, also we've got Jamie Vardy to return who we bought from Stocksbridge for the fee of around £15,000 who's a quality striker along with your ex Richard Marshall ( Scooby ) & Nathan Taylor who came for Clitheroe. Jonathan Hedge has been dropped for the last few weeks after some dismal performances soo we've been sticking with Phil Senior in goal.
Considering we havn't lost at home except from last years FA Cup Knock out by Wrexham we havn't lost at home since August 2009!

Its a great draw, two weeks to get excited, but I really don't rate our chances. If we had been at home (these away draws are starting to get farcical!), we might have done it, away its gonna be a hell of an ask. They may be in a lower league but I'd say their team was BSquare North standard easily. I'm less scared by Holland than I am by Dean, the two together are terrifying
Really no excuse for the bulk of our core fans not to turn up for this one, it would be fantastic to turn them over, and after all I was pessimistic about Saturday and I was wrong there, so maybe I'll be wrong again. I'd love a draw and then beat them at our place...two weeks to imagine all sorts of scenarios...

Not worried about Dean. Wind him up in the first few minutes and watch the elbows fly closely followed by the red card.
When he played or us he was suspended more often than a ceiling.

If Holland is back to his old form he's going to tear us to shreds.

Holland is on top form at the minute along with Dean, Dean was going to go on loan a few games back to get back to full fitness after his injury last season, he was going to go on a 1 months loan to Evo-Stik North club Clitheroe, but on his debut of the 2010/2011 season he scored & then carried on scoring for fun for us.
The Shay is a fortress lately 533 days & counting since we last lost a league game at our place, last time been Wrexham in the FA Cup last season 1-0 90+ min 30 yard strike which sent us crashing out.
You guy's will love the Shay but it's going to be a mamouth of a task. .

Totally agree.
Will be a major embarassment for you if we turn you over. Like the video of the empty stands watching Dean score.

Them 2 stands are empty due to health & safety, they're currently been renovated, not sure when they'll be done by, the other stand opposite the goal is branded unsafe due to, originally before it was going to all terraced they'de drilled the holes in for where the seats we're going to go & they've started to crack ( apparently ) so we'll see, either way, still a hell of a better home crowd then you get over 4/5 match days. .

A few more distractions for people in Harrogate on a saturday than in Halifax I suspect, and we are daft enough to have two non league teams within a mile of each other in the same town.
Plus population of Halifax is 50% more than Harrogate. Lies damn lies and statistics. In my opinion, gates are like p*n*s's, it's not how big they are but what you do with them.

Massed hordes of faithful pilgrims will vacate the City Of Destruction on the sixth day to witness the Straymen slay the Shaymen on the long journey south to the Celestial City, just off the North Circular.
Former Straymen hitman Holland, Pearl of the Shaymen, will be accompanied by Dean, in keeping with the best of cinematic advertising tradition. The towering force of Pell will prevail and Armstrong will strike one small goal for man, one giant hat trick for mankind.
What a tangled web we weave/r,when first we practice to reprieve.

Phillips is out injured but Bowey might be back (again) for how long?
Still should be a good day out.
