Cracking game, possibly the best overall performance of pre-season, and mainly using not regular starters during pre-season, Hardy was outstanding stood out so much against some igh quakity opposition, number 11 looked very good lively down the left wing, overall a great team performance every player on that pitch deserved that roun dof applause at the end great effort against a very strong leeds line-up.

Agreed. Their line up included Max Gradel, Davide Somma, Andy Robinson, Alan Sheehan, Jason Crowe, Lubo Michalik!

Jeez, I do fancy putting on some money for us to get out of the BSN now! Their joint wage is about Town's yearly budget!! If not more!!

VERY GOOD PERFORMANCE TONIGHT . THE NO11 WAS JAMES NAYLOR WHO PERFORMED REALLY WELL PLAYING AGAINST LEEDS REGULAR FIRST TEAM RIGHT BACK HIS DELIVERY FROM SET PIECES WERE FLOORLESS AND NEARLY BAGGED A BRACE IF IT WASNT FOR THE LEEDS GOALIE PULLING OFF A COUPLE OF SAVES. LIAM HARDY LOOKED CLASS UP FRONT NEARLY SCORED A COUPLE ALSO, THESE TWO PLAYERS WILL CERTAINLY ADD ALOT TO THE TEAM,. THINGS ARE LOOKING POSITIVE, DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH MY COMMENTS

Re: TOWN v Leeds: Kick off now 7.15pm
Don't know anything about Leeds (well very little), so wasn't aware of the strength of the team last night (although clearly a few were a bit beyond the youth team stage!), so the performance (by essentially our 'reserve' team) was remarkable. Agree that Naylor was class (but is there a place for him?), as was Hardy: pity he could not put away that golden chance at the end. The keeper Myers looked pretty solid as well. I hope poor old Dominic Roma isn't too tired on Saturday, he seems to heve played in every game! (and very well too). Andy Wright worked hard, but there may not be a place for him, Macklin good too, but again we need a squad of 22 to accomodate all these class players.
Wonder if we may register players like Naylor, Macklin etc. and then loan them out so they can get regular playing time, but be available if we need them.
Doing my best not to get over-excited, but this really does look like a heck of a squad: lets hope we are still as excited this time next week

good response. naylor deffinately needs to be kept if only for squad purposes ... he really impressed me . hardy will get the goals. and the defence looks good.

I agree with the comments above. How old are Liam Hardy and Jordan Myers as they both look young?
