Lamb (GK) - back from his honeymoon ...... out of touch
    Burrell - scored a screamer .... a genuine talent
Scott Harrison (RB) number 2 - from Ilkeston ..... looked ok still settling in
Leon Scott and Dave McTiernan (Number 4) are solid, McTiernan worked his socks off and then tired .... midfield enforcer?

yep the the defence was shokkin except sturdy had a good game... I thought lamb had a good game and didnt deserve to let in the goals he did he pulled off to very good saves to save the defense... i thought Mctiernan had a good game and Burrell altho looked a bit dodgy at times made up for it with his great strike. Leon Scott played o.k but seemed very poor at tackling he went steaming in for slide tackles a couple of times one time costing us a goal he needs to stop sliding and just hold up the player.
OVERALL A VERY ENJOYABLE GAME if we were looking at this game i would say defence is our weakness but then thinkign agen weve got weaver and bloomer to come in

Mario played and did well on a slippery surface when he came on at half time
    Maloney trained but didn't play
    No Ovington tonight

Bloomer makes a difference at the back
Bloomer and Sturdy would be a good combination

Yep Bloomer is a class apart at the back him and sturdy would be great partnership... I think mario is a great little player as wel li think he could do a decent job playing the defensive midfielder role..

Would you believe it...couldn't make it last night and missed 10 goals Sad Who scored Town's goals? Burrell for one, any others? Should I (we) be worrying that we concede 5 goals to a team in the North East Counties Shocked Not much on the official site, just the result.

Goals - Burrell - 2, Ryan (pen), the centre forward trialist (cant remember the other)
    Team to my knowledge
John Lamb (1st half) Steve Hernandez (2nd half), Simon Harrison, John Kay, Dave McTiernan, Simon Sturdy, Trialist, James Burrell, Dean Gent, Trialist, Ollie Ryan, Chris Emms.
Subs Used, Trialist (No 11 on Tuesday), Leon Scott, Dan Broadbent, Zeph Thomas, Mario Campagna (John Maloney not used)

Worry about the defence? - on Tues and Thurs show yes, but that wont be the defence at Corby.

To my reckoning that is 36 players used in 3 games.
