We were poor today with again far too many long punts upfield for Ainge. Incredible finish to the game with all those penalties but just shows you need to keep going for the full 90 mins plus.Salford must wonder how they came away with only one point and scored a truly memorable 2nd goal.

Its not Simon Ainge, it's Roy of the Rovers, the secrets out! Yes we were pretty rubbish for 80 minutes but who cares? The most astonishing last 8 minutes I have ever seen. Is 3 pens in 8 minutes a record? It must be. Completely unbelievable.

Stood in front of the office second half! Great view from there, but I would have loved being with you guys! I might have had to hug someone, so thank your lucky stars! Those memories will keep going in the Summer.

Thought it was an "end of season/nothing to play for" type of performance which made a reasonable Salford side look good. Ref was right with all the pen decisions but missed the blatent one against Ainge in the first two minutes of the game. He also seemed to turn a blind eye to the constant shirt pulling in their area - something their manager failed to comment on. Makes a change for us to get late goals, usually the other way.
