    By car
    Via M62, M60
Moor Lane is located just over two miles away from Junction 17 of the M60. The ground is not located in Salford itself, but in the nearby area of Kersal.

From the M60 at Junction 17 take the A56 towards Manchester City Centre. Keep straight along the A56 and after passing a Lidl store on the left with a Carphone Warehouse on the opposite side of the road, then take the third turning on the right (at the traffic lights and signposted Oaklands Hall/St Pauls Church) into Moor Lane. For the main entrance take the next left into Nevile Road and you will reach the ground down on the right, after the school.

    Car Parking
There is no parking available at the ground for visiting supporters, plus the streets in the immediate vicinity of the ground have a resident’s only scheme in operation. So please check signage on lamp posts for details of parking restrictions, as wardens out on patrol on matchdays. However, there is street parking to be had on Moor Lane itself and other streets located a little further away from the ground, such as Kersal Moor Road. Parking here also has the added benefit that you can get away pretty easily after the match, as at the top of Kersal Moor Road, you can turn right towards Prestwich (for M60 North) or left towards Swinton (for M61 and M60 South).

    By Train
Although there are some smaller railway stations that are slightly nearer to Moor Lane, it is not worth travelling out to them as you'll still be almost three miles away from the ground. Manchester Victoria is the closest mainline station, which is just over three miles away and probably too far to walk. Either take a taxi up to the ground or from the Victoria Station approach you can catch First Bus No: 98 along Bury New Road towards Bury. This bus stops just after Moor Lane, just past the Hazeldean Hotel. The journey time is around 18 minutes. More information can be found on the First Bus website.

What a great advert for the league in front of their smallest crowd of the season. We just don’t seem to be able to beat Salford but we deserved not to loose last night. Everyone in the team gave their all and deserved better. We unfortunately were beaten by a training ground well worked goal . Salford attacked at great speed without resorting to playing the ball backwards and looked very dangerous at times. Our luck was out when Jacks strike hit the base of the post. Well done to the ref for booking their keeper who must have wasted almost 5 minutes taking a free kick. Hope we are really up for the next 2games because we really need 6 points out of them.

Good game, fast and skilful and showed that we can match Salford in most areas and maybe all. Well done, Town ... one of our best performances of the season so far.
Uncharacteristic mistake by Belly let in their first goal, but he made up for it with some great keep-outs the rest of the match.
Imaginative set piece move got them a goal - i wish we could show similar unpredictable flair at set pieces.
However, allowing for one or two other weak moments by a few, overall, despite losing, we played some classy stuff which made me feel buoyant that we can get 6 points from the next 2 away games and then pile it all on at home to Aldershot (although they did get a surprise draw at Orient last night!).

Good to see Management not happy with the goals conceded. To score two away from home you should be picking up a point at least we can not expect to score 3 or 4 in order to win a game.
