flexi tickets/mini season tickets - a book of 6 or 10 vouchers that allow people who cant attend each game due to work or location a chance to commit to the club but have a choice of flexibility so they can attend when work etc allows.

match programmes - do the club do a subscription service at the start of the season (for us who cant attend each game) - pay a cheque at the start of season and have a copy posted after each game with cup games as extra.

Both good ideas big Dave, so if the season ticket costs say £200 for arguments sake, you could get a mini season ticket for say £100 which would entitle you to a certain number of games per season?.Something like gold, silver and bronze style season tickets with differing offers so more money more games as well as other benefits?

yeah or it may encourage people who are Leeds or York season ticket holders to have Town as their 2nd team when they are playing away. any extra money through the gate has to be encouraged.

What other season ticket packages and ticketing strategies are in place across other sports and football teams?

I wonder what the club makes of all these ideas?
If I was Irving, I'd be very happy with some of these ideas.

quite a few clubs do flexi tickets i believe. They are usually aimed at people who cant commit to a season ticket. if its promoted and shouted about then it can be a success.
Also are season tickets a book of vouchers or a laminated card?

Re: Fan ideas for 16/17 season?
if we all did 5 teams from this league with season ticket prices plus add one, offers and early birds to see what the competitors are up too then brought it together would give us some good ideas. Can't factor in running costs of differing clubs but certainly allow us to look at how others are approaching growing their fanbase?

Re: Fan ideas for 16/17 season?
Just had a quick look about to relieve the nerves.
York do a mini season ticket from the 1/12 for 10 home games at £165 which also gets 10% off merchandise over £15 ( full season ticket at £350 for 15/16 season).
Nuneaton have a fancy smartcard type system with photo Id,£230 adult standing with under 17's free or £35.
Usual early bird offers with most clubs appearing to offer under 12's for free.
The voucher system or mini season ticket allowing 10 games say could work, plus may work with direct debit but it would be tracking payments etc.
Graduated 'packages' could also work depending on how they were put together but at the end of the day its got to work as a business.
Shame we can't 'borrow' the hospital car park for match days? Presume that is a no go.

Thoughts on charities. An inaugural Harrogate ring way sponsored run. It's about 20 miles in aid of say St Michaels hospice finishing up back at CNG for some sort of gala/ open day just prior to new season. Could showcase any changes with good opportunity to sign up folk as town supporters/ticket holders/ database etc plus positive advertising? Poss chuck in a charity football match or 3 way match between Harrogate v railway v knaresborough?

And Taddy Albion: two semis and a final in one afternoon, pre season. Maybe get a few 'legends' involved, Danny Holland etc. Sounds a good idea to me.

Re: Fan ideas for 16/17 season?
Some good news last night anyway (apart from the fantastic turn out). according to the programme we now have a Head of Communication (love the job title!). So next season we should have a decent programme and website at last. My prayers have been answered.

I'm feeling that a Harrogate town branded polo shirt would suit me over summer. Also Like the base layer training top, would show off the town badge beautifully plus you'd be supporting a local business. Might even get stuff in xl!

surely there is a local company that would produce HTAFC polo/sweatshirts with the crest on in partnership with the club?

Just found this on the website [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
I feel it needs to be on the homepage though and it's very hard to find in that location.
