Hartlepool sack their manager after just 7 games !! Is it his fault that he inherited a team that would not finish in the top ten of the Conference. Talk about giving him time.

Thought Woods was superb (first half particularly), and Featherstone. Bring back Turnbull!

Woods disappeared second half but Featherstone was the best player on the park. Hartlepool have a team that would not be in the top ten in the Conference. They have no money and sack the manager, who inherited that side, after just 7 games so what does that achieve. Nothing.

Woodsy done that with us. He would drift in and out of games quite a lot, but in his defence, Simon couldnt decide what his best position was, so that didnt help him.

He is still a class act, and would have been the first name on the retained list, with Bolder.
