I notice the club is taking votes for the player of the month for September, I voted for a player in the August vote but as yet haven't seen who won "The player of month for August".

think i heard Dootson, but not positive about that, we havnt had a home game for ages so im guessing it will be in the programme this saturday

I asked a serious question, "Does anyone know who won it?"It seems strange that four weeks on, and the club has not made an official announcement.
Maybe announcing the original winner could have been embarrassing to Mr Weaver, I do hope that isn't the case and that the player who was voted winner duly receives his award.

I will answer this one as programme editor Cueball,
The Player of the Month result gets announced in the next home programme usually after 10 days of the new month has passed - to allow people to vote and for the results to be counted etc. You will notice, looking at the fixture list, that this is indeed the first match that we have played at the CNG since September the 4th (Hinckley United) which, when played, the poll was still running.
I can categorically state that the club is not embarrassed by the player that won it, nor is it refusing to name the player it is simply a case of NO HOME matches in which I could announce it.
And just for records sake, I am afraid it wasn't Craig Dootson that won it! You can find out the winner by buying the programme today.
Also if you look at the official website, on the front page under "In the Official Matchday Programme this week" the seventh bullet point does indeed state:
• Player of the month result for August - did your favourite win?
