A lot of clubs have frozen prices due to the economical climate, this does not look like it will be a very busy ground come match days.

The standard of football will have to be amazing to justify the increase, which I doubt will be the case.

I do also have my reservations, due to the fact that Simon Weaver is still in charge. But if they sign an expereinced assistant manager, my fears will be allayed somewhat.

I am of the opinion that although the club has made some very good signings. You have to be a good manager, which Weaver he has proven not to be. Constantly passing the buck and criticising the team does not help, the buck stops with the manager. It is that simple.

I do believe if they show some good form, the fans will return, but I get the impression that the club are dependant on the diehard fans that will pay £12 per game.

For me, the issue of a decent assistant is something yet to be seen. John Deacey would have been the perfect assistant for Weaver, but maybe he has had too much experience, which might/will make Simon uncomfortable.

This then leads me to think that no matter who is brought in, with Simon pulling the strings, we may never have a competitive team for this league.

I hope I am proven wrong, but only time will tell.

Sulphurite you have hit the nail on the head.
I can say without the fear of contradiction
that Deacey and others have seen the writing on the wall
and are not going to fall into the Weaver trap has other
assistants have.Bye the way the new assistant is a ex
    Grimsby player i'm told Wink
