Rhys Meynell signs

25 year old right back released by Guiseley at the end of the 2014 campaign
Thoughts?

A search on him suggests he plays left back?

LB who was released from Guisley but was a first team player. Should do well for us in my opinion. Started 33 of there games last season and 4 of the bench... If i remember correctly (probably dont!) he had some pace about him??

Think it shows while last year we attempted to get players from the conference/ higher leagues to come down to play for us this season we have attempted to bring in experienced players at this level to get us up

Is this because they signed Coulson / Lowe so have released Meynell? IMO excellent signing. He was the reason why Mezza didn't get a contract at Guiseley and had to leave?

Just seen his stats from last season. Pretty impressive and scored a few too. Team is now starting to take shape.

Initially not overwhelmed, but reading these posts sounds like a good signing. We obviously need quality CN players in our team, and he seems to fit the bill. probably an upgrade on Merris, age wise at least! Starting XI beginning to take shape now:

Barnes/ Franks, McGurk, Killock, Meynell/ Nelthorpe,Nowakowski/x/ Walshaw, Kendall, Worsfold.

Not bad! To be honest I expect Adam to become more of a squad player once all the signings are complete.
