In all honesty DK you are probably right, but after todays result the WRCC Cup Final against Eccleshill doesnt exactly fill me with hope. Remember that they beat a strong Guiseley side to get through; two pertinent notes being that if we perform against Guiseley the way we did against Gloucester, it will be more than 5 conceded and also that Guiseley recently put 6 past Telford and are in red hot form.

A Tin Pot cup isn't going to gloss over what has quite simply been a season of under achievement in the League and Cups, considering all the talk at the start of the season about promotion.

The current squad should be running away with this league, pure and simple. The players know it, and Simon and Macca know it as well.

No supporters coach so some Town fans make their way down by train!!!!!

Not sure what time they would have made it back home though!
     Shocked

That's not the whole story. Joe has been with us since he was 11 and come all through the ranks. Newport signed him in December and loaned him back to us for the remainder of the season.

It's nice that he's going to get a chance in the FL but a bit annoying that we've put in all the work and won't benefit from it!

I think I was the only one, with my son, that went by train. Funny story, the police was waiting at the station, they had been told to expect 50 travelling supporters, never seen the Police come to a station for a father & son going to a football match. We got home back to Harrogate around 1015pm, pretty much left right after the match. some others arrived via a couple of cars, but not a big turn out, about 20 possible?
