Re: Vauxhall Motors shock
That's quite sad news. I wish them well and Hope they can sort themselves out. In football, stories like this remind us that wages of £300,000 a week for Rooney is disgusting when you see clubs battling to survive in the non league.

Re: Vauxhall Motors shock
Sad news, but in hindsight maybe not too surprising. I guess keeping a 'works team' as high in the Pyramid as that was always going to be difficult. How much involvement did VM Motors have anyway? There ground is a bit in the middle of nowhere, hard to get a decent following built up. Their manager certainly worked wonders there the last few years. Maybe some decent players to pick up?

Sorry to learn about this. We've had some good games against them in past years. Hope their club pulls through although in a lower league by the sound of it.

Re: Vauxhall Motors shock
Apparently it will be the West Cheshire League, not even in the Pyramid!

Re: Vauxhall Motors shock
crowds of 200 max and they don't gain any revenue from the bar so they had no way of competing in this league.

Today's Non League Paper reports that Histon's future is in doubt after the club's board of directors said they will resign at the end of the month.
