It was nice to get a Christmas card from the Club, thanks guys, but I think I might need someone from GCHQ to decipher it! Any help gratefully received.   

Think of the 12 days of Christmas and then it make sense - a partridge (on the first day etc.) = no. 1 hence in goal etc.
