Good result today. Thought we played well overall. Lacked a bit of urgency at times, and periods of the game we really weren't sharp/quick enough, but that's what pre-season is for. We have performed better in pre-season games, but it's another positive result.

What a signing that is, based on yesterday's performance, he will certainly add a lot to the team.

Blimey, you go away for a few days and all sorts happens! Sounds like a good win Saturday, and Taylor looks like an excellent signing...hope he plays Wednesday. Dominic Rowe has come out of nowhere it seems, hat trick against Ossett...how good is he? Who was this Dougie Wilson, another triallist?

Its beginning to look like we could field two teams: one in the Conference North and our 'reserves' in the Evo-Stik Premier! Don't envy Simon having to pick a starting XI for August 17th.

And our Assistant Manager goes and writes a book...its all happening and the season hasn't even started!
