Every game vital now, can't afford many more defeats. Tomorrow will be tough, but I'd take a draw now.

I just get the impression that the fixture backlog is catching up with the team now. It's been a lot of fixtures in a short space of time.

I think it will be a tight game, and i'm hoping Town can sneak it 1-0. However, as PaulStreet states, I would also be happy with a draw, but 3 points would be preferred.

This is like a home game for me as I live about 30 minutes drive from Bishops Stortford and weather today " darn sarf" is a respectable 25 degrees and of course nice and hot as it always is in the south .....spoke to Harrogate based parents this morning and hear you have snow AGAIN ....ooohhhh deaar .

Well truth be told its cloudy and overall not too bad , so hoping and expecting for the game to be on . Hearing from you guys on the forum that the team seem tired , which is I am sure expected , butI am sure Town are up for this and lets hope for a little sneaky win

Anybody coming down from Town tonight ?

At least another 6 travelling down!
    Match is ON
We only had 12 dotted around the ground @ Corby!
So might not be far off that numbers wise for a midweek long distance match!!!

great result tonight...got back from Edinburgh at 9.30, rushed on to the website to see the score and was performing some strange dance moves in front of a bemused wife after Chibs scored...........I would normally say Saturday should be off, but who knows if we get the same ref as against Chester. I would prefer to play Halifax on a dodgy pitch!

Boys were immense last night. Great team performance but would make particular reference to:
Dave Merris - immense against a really speedy winger and still supported front men. Guiseley loss Town gain
Adam Nowakowski - rock solid and very strong in the air when they brought on Goliath in the second half
Bolly - my MOM. Simply outstanding.
Danny - Stortford full back still recovering from dizzy spells this morning.
Chib - great to see him back on the scoresheet and smiling bounce Smile
Killer and Mr WHite - think Rock of Gibraltar! affraid
Knowles - studs worn out by end of game.
Management - got the whole game spot on but for 15 minute period in 2nd half but can't be expected to control the whole game.

Halifax looks doubtful with the weather and they face a messy end of season fixture pile up - on the evidence of this game our Lads are much better on a decent surface. Great to watch and lovely atmosphere though they did call us "dirty Northern xxxxxxxxxx" which I thought was a little out of order given our respect for the English language Basketball cheers

Thanks for the report Ged .... 10 games left .... the squad in great spirits, the late winter chill will pass over and then we can go for it! My instinct is that Brackley are having a rocky patch and might be the team to chase for a 5th spot?

Great win again! Must make us at least joint favourites to get that 5th spot. Agree with I B that Brackley could be catchable, 5 points behind, game in hand. They must be due a wobble surely! What a great squad we have, and, it would see, great team spirit. All credit to Simon and Macca, I'd love to see Simon get Manager of the Month before the end of the season.
