Useful ,,,, useless 4 - 1 you just can`t write the script if we play like that we will be sticking it to the Evostick league next season ,and this season is going to be extremely long cruel and oh boy I can`t even begin to contemplate another season stuck in the wrong half of the table,,, Please tell me im`e going to be wrong Neutral

    Friendlies!
    Smile
    Are just that!
Training sessions for fitness & trailing new players & systems!
8 new players will take time to bed in!
We started the league season 10 games unbeaten years back!
Never won one pre season match before that!
    These have been testing friendlies!
    Just what we need!
    Hartlepool on Wednesday!
Will have a look after 10 league games to see how many winners we have in the squad!

Hope your right Big Lundy! Got a nasty shock when I saw the result in the NLP Sunday morning. This is the 4th pre-season and, to be fair, they should be more than just training sessions by now. Seems as though Spennymoor thought it was more than a training session! In the Advertiser Simon said he was taking the game seriously, bringing a coach and all that. So I guess my views are in between yours and Maverick's.
Incidentally I enjoyed seeing the photographs on the official site: any chance we could quietly 'lose' the new strip ('terribly sorry Zoo Sports, we left them on the bus'), and play in last year's shirts? Please Mr. Weaver? I wasn't that keen on last year's shirts but they look absolutely fantastic compared to this season's! I'm sure CNG would be pleased: you can actually SEE their logo Smile
