New Goalkeeper Signs Empty New Goalkeeper Signs

According to the Football Conference Website yesterday, we have made a new signing.........

Blue Square Bet North club Harrogate Town have added young goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray to their squad.
Locally born, MacGillivray was originally with Town`s Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North neighbours Harrogate Railway Athletic.
He was on the fringe of `Rail`s first-team and made a few appearances in the senior side, mainly in friendlies.
In October 2011 he moved across the Pennines and joined Stalybridge Celtic and made his first-team debut in the Cheshire Senior Cup against Chester FC in which he was impressive.
After a bad injury, he never returned to the Celtic line-up, however, and after totaling four appearances, left in June.

Could be a good signing and provide competition for Viega. Rather surprising that he struggled to get into Railway's side but made 4 appearances for Stalybridge Surprised Not sure what that tells you about Railway Smile

Craig has been at Railway playing since he was 14.after playing for the junior teams he moved up to play for the academy. The academy played away at Stalybridge and after the match four Rail players were asked to sign, only Craig decided to do so. He has had trials at Leeds and Blackburn. A very confident keeper and still young and I am sure he will break into your 1st team as from what I have seen your other keeper is not that confident especially on crosses and his kicking is shocking, anyway had a look at your pitch yesterday and it looks superb. All the very best for the season.
