Parker signs..

The 28-year-old signs for Town after captaining Guiseley AFC to promotion in 2015.

Pontefract born Parker started his career with Leeds United, and went on to make 41 appearances for the Whites. The left back also enjoyed loan spells at Bradford City, Darlington and Carlisle United before joining Guiseley in 2013.

Should be a great signing and a solid left back which is what we needed!

Totally agree chips, just need him to stay fit and injury free and we have got an excellent defensive unit plus goalie. If SW can gel them all and get them shifting the ball quickly on the deck then game on. Would still like to see another couple of signings, striker and creative mid.

Great signing for us, just what we needed. As you say Surplus, another striker (possibly two?) and job done. Seen quite a bit of Ben in his younger years and never looked out of place in League One. Hopefully with the extra training sessions he can push on with us.

The team is really taking shape.In Ben he really is a great left back and if it was not for injuries, he would no doubt be playing further up the ladder.My only worry is, we are still weak on the left side.No natural left footed players, in all departments.(bar Ben).
Early days,but our attack is without doubt priority.Another striker with real quality(and who can score) is all that's now needed..

This is a fantastic signing for the club. When the news come out that he had been let go, we had to sign him. 200% improvement on Swain. Well done to the club for getting this one done.
