F.A. Cup Draw!

Frickley away!
We managed to get over 400 fans for an F.A. Cup match at Frickley in 1982!
It’s still the largest away support I have seen us take whilst watching Town!
Put a coach on, charge a fair price, (a coach to Frickley shouldn’t cost too much) get names booked, & get some fans there!
We are sponsored by a coach firm!!!!!
We must be able to fill a bus for this!
If you want a run in the cup you need the “vocal” support as well as a bit of luck!!!!

A coach would be perfect, I'd bring plenty of mates, and get them to bring mates, etc etc

Its a tough one, sadly the kind of FA Cup match against lower league opposition away that we have a habit of losing! Remember (who could forget?) last season. Desperately need to get through this round, a draw would be OK, defeat unthinkable. We do need more of the supporters to get off their behinds and come and support us: no real excuses, its a local Yorkshire derby after all. And the scenic delights of South Emshall to enjoy as well!

I've meant to ask this for a while now, but does anyone know if there's any kind of "seeding by area" in the qualifying rounds? They always seem to throw up an inordinately large number of local derbies.

And I agree with Paul. Too much like a banana skin for my liking so we'd better take it seriously.

Yes Dan, the draw is 'regionalised' until the final (4th qualifying) round when (i think) it becomes national. I seem to recall that Town used to get drawn a lot against teams from the north east, now the 'region' seems bigger: last year, for example, we got New Mills which is in the Derbyshire Peak District (great day out that was and we won as well!). Not much sightseeing to do for this match!
