New Signings

Anyone got information on possible new player signings apart from the Central Defender.

Certain players have re-signed for next season, I think Simon will keep most of the players together but the squad needs three or four signings to help us compete in a very tough league.

Well now we know who is leaving, Ben Middleton,Terry Kennedy, Jack Vann, Marcus Day, Louis Swain and John McCombe.

Three central defenders in the list, bit surprised at McCombe leaving as he is an experienced defender, not sure what age he is.  Leaves us short on central defenders and people who can play full back with Swain and Vann going.

I presume Simon has "irons in the fire" as they say.

I would imagine they know what they are doing.
Most full time players' contracts don't expire until the end of this month so we may have to wait for any announcements.

I agree Townfan. I’m sure Simon + Paul will already know there targets, and I’m sure they’ll have pedigree. Will need players with pedigree at this level. But, with the players retained, we should be not only excited, but confident of holding our own in what I consider, the equivalent of Leauge 2 football. Really looking forward to a tough x9 months ahead. In Simon we trust.

That’s a great signing, Arron Williams from Brackley Town today :-). Keep up the good work Simon + co. Was sorry to see Jake sign for York, but that’s covered that one. So, x2 great additions to our talented squad. Arron, you’ve just joined a top club, good luck mate. If you get us x25 goals in this Leauge with us, that will be superb.

Any rumours of any other signings, gone really quiet?

According to the local paper "terms have been agreed with a versatile attacker with National League experience and he will join Town when his current contract expires" and Simon is "still looking at options at left back".

Possibly Jack Muldoon from Fylde

Muldoon is a fantastic signing.

Just need cover at left back now and we’re about sorted, hopefully someone lined up or I’d be very surprised we let Swain go
