Not sure who’s done this graph

And with only the yellow blocks as confirmed away supporter numbers (most of it does look like guesswork)  scratch
It looks like we have 2 away league games left (A night match @ Boston & a trip to our favourite away ground in the league!!!!!!! Shocked)  to try and average 100+ away fans per away league match this season!!!!

This would be a first since we have been in the National League North!

    That’s what I thought!
    Wink
Only a few clubs segregate all their home games in this league & even those will miss a few away fans who sit in their main stands!
Anyhow Boston United are one of the clubs who do segregate all their home games, so the count for the number of Town fans turning up on Tuesday 17th April won’t be far off the mark!!!

There's an opportunity to get a preview of the Boston side tonight when they play at the C N G - and Brackley will be there on Thursday.

Boston were the better team and could have won by two or three if they had taken their chances. Spennymorons created very little.

There was no lack of effort by Town tonight, so i' m mystified how we were well beaten by a better side (of part timers) on the night !
They created better chances and took some of them well.
Their goalie had complete dominance in their penalty area.
I fear that there will be a better team in the play-offs which beats us - especially if the management do not see the light regarding a player they persist with who is not up to this standard - based on his second half of the season performances - i could elaborate further but what's the point?

Don’t disagree F/Phoenix on the points you’ve made, but less of the negative vibes regarding better sides in the play offs. Our team have been Stella throughout a long season, and have pushed Salford all the way. Things changed massively after missing the early penalty. Just think, if that would of gone in, what would of happened then? we’d probably have gone on and won comfortably. Keep the faith, get to Bradford on Saturday and prepare for a nail biting end to a great season.

Team selection helped in our defeat because Leesley looks as if he wants to be away and is making sure we don’t get promoted. Anyone else think he’s been tapped up by some team ?
It was not only Leesley who was not at the races- our defence looked too slow generally to cope with their forwards. Fallowfield after a good last game showed his limitations and Macombe struggles at times to cope with our passing game. At left back we have a good player going forward but gets caught out defending fast wingers.
Think Boston were really fired up by their management team and i wonder why they don’t play more often like that because they would have been going for the top spot and would have beaten any team at the top on that performance. Up front the front 2 really tried with no luck with their keeper very dominant in the box. Our midfield of jack and josh tried but found it very hard to get anywhere.
We’ve now got 2 tough games against a rejuvenated Park Avenue and Curzon to cement our 2nd spot. I really don’t fancy our chances in the playoffs against any of the top teams at the moment but would be glad to be wrong.

I don't think a first 5 mins score would have changed how boston played (extremely well) during the next 85 mins, but i do concede that the pen scored would have made it 3-1 instead of 3-0 !!
    We'll never know for sure!
