Town. 6-3. Alfreton
Town 1-3. Gainsborough
Gainsborough 0-2. Alfreton
Strange league.
Oh yes!!
Salford. 5-0. Fylde.
Curzon Ashton have just beaten Fylde & Darlington but lost at home to Bradford today.
Anyone for the prediction League !!

SW after today. Top effort by all accounts but we have to be consistent. Imagine wins against Trinity, Curzon and Worcester. Got to keep rolling now!

Re: Boston away
Difficult decision next week when Pittman available because Swain playing well up front and is a big presence. Ainge offside around 10 or 11 times today so needs to learn how to stay onside.

Re: Boston away
Possibly trying to get a yard due to lack of speed. Still say we need to look at striking options for next season.

After signing Brodie it looked like Boston decided to put plenty of sand down to make him feel at home!!!

Re: Boston away
I try not to be too swayed by results when forming my opinion of the game yesterday, so I look at the pluses and minuses:
Positives:
We won
The feel good factor that winning brings
Three different goal scorers
A clean sheet
The return of Ellis, Turner and Ainge
Passion showed by the players
Negatives:
Off side too often
The kick, chase and scrap style of football seems to now be the default setting for us. I appreciate that occasionally this most basic form of playing is necessary (arguably yesterday's soggy beach was not the place to try to play the ball and playing as we did paid off,) however, seeing that week in and week out is monotonous to say the least
Really like Swain up top, but would still prefer him at the back instead of Parker, as for me, he is the weak link and has not played well for the last few games. He is far too slow
One other observation - our technical area will need to be extended soon if any more staff stand in there shouting things at the players

Are you thinking of Roma at Gainsborough?
Don't think Murray has resigned.

He fits the weaver panic signing profile I'm afraid, a bit like that lad last year Hearn was it? Would not surprise me if we signed him
