Here's hoping for a good performance and win against fylde. Need to turn up and put a big shift in.

Ok, here's my two penny worth, fwiw - I'm expecting a trouncing - Managementto use injuries as the scapegoat .... They would have some small justification.
But I'm travelling in hope as always!

Listening to the radio interview, it ain't good with the possibility of a new CB pairing, and a makeshift frontline and Burrell missing. That said, these guys want to play, no better time to get stuck in than now. Chib can show us what he's made of and lead the line with Reece playing off him. It is what it is, nothing to lose and all to gain!

Well, we were 1-0 up. Now 2-1 down. They scored 2 goals in 5 minutes.
The reaction on this game will be interesting.

Congratulations to the team on playing well most of the game and having the best chances in the 1st half. With the team we had playing I'd have settled for the result we got. Fyldes 1st goal was another error by Crook and their 2nd goal was easily offside. Daniels made his overweight late appearance and did nothing. MOM for me was Platt so I suppose he'll get dropped again like when he scored 2 against FC MANCHESTER. Hope theirs no more injuries for the big Tuesday game v Kidderminster.

We played well - much better than I had expected. We created more than they did in the final quarter of the pitch for most of the match and would have deserved a draw if it hadn't been for Crook's basic primary school boy gaff (must say, he also made one excellentl save in the second half).

Trouble is playing well doesn't get pts on the board. We've got to start taking these half chances and managing games out. Feel despondent after Halifax and now fylde. Kiddy game a big one and hopefully have some players back!

Agreed Tommy but none of this gets points on the board. All this 'plucky' Harrogate and playing well is great as far as it goes but we need to get back to winning ways. Next 2 games should be 6 pts on the board and we're back amongst it. Don't see Rowe getting injured week in week out, so we've done well to manage it but with players returning we need to push on.
Would like to see cover at LB and CB as well as an attacking mid who's going to score a hatful as well as cover up front. Not sure what's going on in the strike force but it needs sorting.
From what folk have said, we play the way we did at fylde then we should get something out of the Kiddy and Darlo game!

It seems that Chib is now 5th choice striker! Day in front of him. Tend to agree with Surplus, enough with the excuses, we need points. Is Crook becoming an issue? I'll miss Kiddy on Tuesday, but we need to win it. Darlington could be very tough.

Re: C'mon lads- town v fylde
I am led to believe that Chib is not fully fit.
Crook was maybe at fault for their first goal but not much of a mention for his point-blank save four minutes earlier.
Listening to the post-match interview we half put seven day's in for two players so watch this space.

Problem is Chib won't get fit if he doesn't play. Lad who has been missing for a month and a half goes straight into the line up and a young lad before him on Saturday and he must wonder what is going on.
That said thought Robertson was bang back to his pre season physicality and led the line really well. Day, a young lad but not ready for the rigours of first team football.
The tactics nearly worked in Simon's favour, despite 1 shot on target in 180 mins, so fair play the only thing that was a tad surprising was the lack of urgency when a goal down. Maybe it was the subs but just thought a point was there for us if we had just believed a bit more - was like we were expecting their third more than thinking we can get a second.
Apart from the nonsensical ticket scanning system thought the ground was a credit to the club, as was the top notch pies. Steak and Ale was immense! Was also a pleasure to be trusted to be able to drink and watch football, away from the liberal smoking policy, it shows how football can and should be as inclusive as possible at this level which means remembering what and who make up the core support especially at clubs of this level, something beyond one or two at Town at present.
