Re: New striker signs
I'm hoping he produces the goods, but his past records suggests he isnt prolific.

What was so wrong with Jamaal Smith? He looks a danger when he comes on?

Re: New striker signs
I'm hoping he does the job, but it's not going to give our current strikeforce any more confidence. It will just deflate them a lot more in my opinion.

Re: New striker signs
I obviously wish him well, and if he bangs in a couple today (come on Adi!), I'll be 'over the moon' , as I believe the saying is. But the loans policy this season seems a bit hit and miss, players come and go very rapidly, blink and you'll miss them...Adam Mitchell looked really good, gone in the blink of an eye. Agree that Jamaal Smith looked very promising...frozen out already?
Oh well, lets hope for the best. Massive game today, lose and I think the 'dream' (play offs) is effectively over, win and we are still in there pitching, as our transatlantic cousins say. But please lads, not another miserable 1-0 defeat, if we are going to lose lets go down 4-3 all lguns blazing!

Re: New striker signs
Yussuf looked good today, i thought, played on the wing and caused problems. Assisted for Worsfold equaliser.

Any idea why subbed at half time? How did Jahmal play? And Connor Sellers?

Personal opinion but after 10 minutes I had my doubts about Jahmal and then a light went on and he started to turn their centre half inside out, switched into top gear and caused a lot of problems.
Conor not on long enough for an opinion but long enough to score - that will do

Re: New striker signs
I thought Sellars looked really intelligent when he came on, looking for the ball, good movement, great touch. Could be a great player. Not sure why he subbed Yussuf off i thought he'd been dangerous first half, but might have been lacking fitness / had options on the bench. We've got some quality options on the wing now IMO.
