Brodie is a class act and real handful for any defender. But if we play like we did against Solihull we could beat any team in our league!!
Let's hope for big turnout Tuesday(weather permitting).

With it being a evening kick off, will it be still segregated?

No plans to segregate but there will be additional stewarding.

past top scorers mean nothing in this league, we should know we have had a fair few over the last couple of seasons...More than happy with fresh young blood that are hungry..First thing that springs to mind with Brodie is that he is a bit of a journeyman now, certainly isn't getting any younger, he has been sat around recently not playing i don't think....My hope is that this  rain doesn't hamper the game tomorrow as I would rather face them whilst they are trying to fit in and unfit. Let's just attack them like Solihull and they will have to worry about our strike force!!

What a different 45 mins we saw in the 2nd half last night -well done to the management for sorting it out-first half Stockport were the better team and deserved their goal but Crook was to blame because he was nowhere near the cross-2nd half we seemed to change gear and system and fully deserved our win -Clayton was easily my M0M and surely has shown to his doubters he is the best c/forword we have had for quite some time- We appear to be getting a few injuries so Rachel work your magic and get them fit please -Roll on Saturday

Completely agree with GARAGE. It really was a game of two halves:first was slow, bereft of ideas, couldn't pick out a pass and we never got going. However, second half was different gravy: substitutions, although forced in part, were effective. Jordan was fantastic when he came on. Clayton worked tirelessly throughout and the balls from set pieces from Daniels were superb. Let's hope there's no more rain, or the players will need wellies instead of boots on Saturday

We were not great in the first half but neither were Stockport. Agree that crooks was at fault for their goal, should have come and claimed it. How their keeper got Daniels shot over the bar with his outstretched leg was unbelievable and would have put us one up.
Second half we upped it a bit with the changes and scored two and should have had two more (Norton & Thewliss).
Have a read of their forum it's quite amusing really. Apparently they should have had a penalty for a foul a yard outside of the box and from the resulting free kick they hit the post!. Yeah they hit the post - unfortunately it was the back post holding the net up. Still they are probably clutching at straws having such a poor season (again) and could be down in 17th place if the teams below them catch up with their matches in hand.
Big concern for us is the injury situation. Shiels, Fallowfield & Cadmen are long term - Knowles and McGurk are still out - we lost Ellis at half-time with a groin injury and ended up with basically ten men when Thewliss did his hamstring.

    Sorry meant Brown not Norton.

Was it not Thirlwell who got injured?

Fantastic performance in the second half and thought overall we throughly deserved the three points.

It was another one of those games where last season, we would have lost 3/4 nil.

The players are up for it. The fans are up for it. Should be an exciting last few months of the season.

Yes Thirwell did get injured but Thewliss also did his hamstring. We basically played out the game with nine fit men hence their onslaught at the end.
Good job they are not one of the better sides or we could have lost that.

I suspect Stockport are a club with excuses for every defeat. If it wasn't for bad luck and bad referees they would be top of the league.
