The Management / Players / Staff / Volunteers / Supporters Club would be grateful if all Town supporters could get the message out that next weeks game against Railway will be priced at an entry fee of £2, £1 of which will be donated to St Michaels Hospice, the Town Charity of the Year.
I have got to know the St Michaels Team over the last 6 weeks - they carry out a critical role in our community. What I wasn't aware of was how many Town supporters families have had a personal involvement with this charity, whether it has been to raise money for them, or indeed to use their services.
We have donated over £1000 so far this season and we hope to encourage a crowd in excess of 500 which will enable us to make a further donation in excess of £500 - our aim is to raise £5000 for St Michaels through this season.
Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
Don't wish to sound like Bob Geldof but PLEASE support this good cause and inform workmates, friends and family (and inform any Rail friends you may have) - you never now when you might need St. Michaels help!
