    A wonderful achievement
Guiseley win the Vanarama North promotion final - coming from 2-0 down to defeat Chorley 3-2
Guiseley v Tranmere and Guiseley v Bromley next season!
    Impact on Town?

A lovely trip to BPA on Boxing Day/New Years Day.

Yes, congrats to Guiseley. They richly deserve it. Having said that I will miss them. nice friendly ground, dead east to get to, and as Jordan says the prospect of a Boxing Day visit to that grim and ghastly hell hole where BPA play. Its bad enough in summer, winter doesn't bear thinking about. Good club shop though!

You cannot help but make the comparison between Mark Bower and you know who. Bower completely inexperienced like SW was, but in TWO years (and, I assume, a smaller budget), he has them in the Premier League. We (after 5 years of the Weaver regime, and 4 years of big budgets), are going nowhere, except down: 6th/9th/15th. Still, completely pointless comment since nothing will change.

Rather quiet on here (when will we get the retained/released list, more photos of the new stand?), so just thought I'd chip in with this. Interesting article in the YEP yesterday which would suggest that Guiseley might struggle to stay in the National League Premier (as I guess we will have to call it) even if they avoid relegation next year. Fairly massive ground improvements needed it would seem (its a nice little ground but a bit 'primitive' to be honest) needed by March 31st, and they have not even got planning permission yet. Could be a tough one!

Guiseley's aim for next season should just be to stay up.
