I'm not a massive fan of the Weaver regime, as I do believe that because that as we have quite a unique setup i.e Father and Son, criticism will be more fierce and warranted (when necessary) when things aren't going well.

When it comes to the Solihull result, it's an excellent result against another bogey team. The youngsters have pulled it out of the hat again. Gascoigne, Thewlis, Nyoni have all been highly impressive in what I have seen so far.

It is 2 wins in a row, and it is very pleasing to see the younger players doing the business (senior players, take note). But keeping it firmly in perspective, the players need to go on a real tear now.

When it comes to Simon, my opinion hasnt differed. Nice guy, but not good enough to manage the club, but credit where credit is due, he has a real eye for young talent.

This is a good point Neil, plenty of young players out there, finding the good ones must take some skill.

Whilst Craig and I are not best friends, we have been able to settle our differences and realise that we both have one thing in common, and that is our love of HTAFC. I have spoken with him since he left the forum, which was on the advice of the club, and he realises that the way which he was coming across was not good. I can assure you that he is not on the forum in any guise. I do not know who 'NOT YOU' is however I do know who 'GREENHOUGHISKING' is and can assure you he most definitely is not Craig.

Great news Jordan, like you say there is ultimately a common cause.....but......knock knock?

maybe Craig can do a little jig for us when its sung next match.

Heartening result as everyone has said. My only fear is that this new team is just a step on the road to all of the other cycles of teams we have had over the years.......next is confusion, then realisation, then resignation......then the bus pulls up outside Wetherby Road to cart them off at the end of the season.

Would be great and would be really happy to be confounded in my doubts and Weaver actually builds a team that lasts.

no they're not. some teams with lesser squads and money than us seem to have no problem dispatching the garbage in this division on a pretty regular basis. what a daft thing to say

Whilst I've been uber impressed with Gascoigne in the last 2 away games, he's got a long way to go to surpass the legendary Ricky Greenough. Clayton reminds me a bit of him (without the goals)

our biggest problem is scoring goals to be honest. we're not going to beat many teams who score against us
