I think quite a few are going today. I would be there if I did not have to take the little one to a birthday party. Bloody inconsiderate mothers arranging parties at 15.00 on a Saturday!

I hope everyone going down today has a great day and that the team give you something to cheer. Surely Simon will stick with the youngsters who injected a little bit of pride back into the club last Saturday (though never underestimate the power of that motor on the revolving door...)

Apparently exactly the same team (and bench) as last week. Good. Best of luck Town.

Great result.
Looks like younger players obeying instructions works better than those with big reputations who can't.

Re: TOWN AT SOLIHUUL
there seems to be a thread ,that young players are listening to waldorf & stadler on the touch line , 1ST time i have been behind them at a match, what aload of crap do them two come out with, i think we had two shots on target !!keeper knocked one out to gasgoine who struck it brilliantly., apart from that it was pinball in our goal area , with some fine goal keeping , if you think we have turned a corner , keep dreaming

The best team won today pure and simple. There is renewed confidence and signs of a better team spirit which if we are going to get out of this mess we're still in are absolutely fundamental. The players and management deserve credit for these last 2 performances but there's still a long way to go

Re: TOWN AT SOLIHUUL
Great win. Better team I thought. Should have been clear at 2 nil, Clayton somehow contriving to underhit an open goal from two yards out. We then had to run our luck last 15. Players flying in everywhere for the Town shirt. Encouraging. Long way to go though, but this XI is finally a team with balance, energy, a bit of trickery and hard work. Looks promising. Gascoigne is a great addition, has Lampard like finishing skills, arriving late in the box and finishing with aplomb.

yeah a good win Craig, but why did the players give you a 'glap' ('Great Lakes Action Plan') after the game ? Shouldn't they be concentrating on football rather than Canadian Lakes ? What are you going to do with it ??

Yes I did - I presume you forgot the other attack we had where Clayton missed his kick from 2 yards out 5 minutes into the second half?

yorkie whats wrong with your eyesight. The non league paper report by their reporter says we were ok for our win and i am reliably informed by people at the game that we had about 5 corners and one goal in the first half alone. Second half we scored an offside goal and missed from 2 yards . Its obvious you have a hidden agender against the management but give some credit when its due as well as criticise when you feel its due.

Re: TOWN AT SOLIHUUL
Beat me to it there TS, darn it! So, the youngsters did it again - fantastic. Trying not to get too excited, but this does look hopeful for the future. Don't forget Boston beat Guiseley (Guiseley!) 5 - 1 Saturday, and we have never won away at Solihull I believe. I hate to tempt fate but we have two 'easier' games coming up, and could move up the league quite a bit. By the way, is Gascoigne still just on loan? if so SIGN HIM UP quick!
Couldn't help noticing that Kendall scored for NFU on Saturday
And we need to start scoring more goals! Still, happy days are still here again...
