Worksop Town fan here. I see you have signed our centre half Luke Shiels. Great signing for you, easily the best defender in our league. Fantastic in the air and has been a real threat at set pieces this season. Don't be put off that he's come from Worksop, he can easily play at a higher level, we've been lucky to keep him so long. He'll become a fans favourite with Harrogate. Good luck Luke.

Sounds like a good signing from what you're saying! But I just hope he can perform at our level

Re: Luke Shiels
Hmmm, a replacement for Killock. Definitely needed someone.
Good luck to him.
Seems highly thought of from the Worksop fans on Twitter.

Re: Luke Shiels
Has he recovered fully from the operation he had?
We’ve too many Darren Anderton’s as it is!

Re: Luke Shiels
Talismatic centre half, Luke Shiels has today left Worksop Town to sign a contract with Conference North side Harrogate Town.
From the Worksop Guardian.
Speaking about Shiels’ departure Mark Shaw said “I’m very disappointed to lose Luke, however he was offered a deal we could not come close to matching, in fact he was offered more money than we could even have afforded last season”
The club wish Luke all the best for the future and hope to see him back in a Tigers shirt some time in the future

Sounds promising. Wonder if he will be registered in time to play today.

Re: Luke Shiels
Looks like a decent signing, will learn a lot from McGurk. Athletic, powerful, good eye, ginger beard, blue boots. Everything you need from a CB
