I didn't go today. I went for a family day in Saltburn. Was the performance really as abject as the scoreline?

It was worse..

Out-classed, out-played, out-coached, out-numbered, and out-scored. One of the worst games I have had the mis-fortune of seeing at Wetherby Road. One step forward, three steps back. Simon will need something special next week to recover from today. Later gaters..........

Almost looked like the lads didn't have a clue what to do 4-2-4 or something over run in midfield over run down both full back areas. Heath looked more then pissed off with the tactics been used.

I don't blame the players as much as I blame the tactics. Only option is long which is easy for most central defenders we play against. At least last season we kept the ball on the deck.

Any midfield would look weak when it's 4 vs 2 simple maths

Playing 4 strikers is a very naïve tactic however 'exciting' it may seem. How do the club expect people to pay £12/13 to watch such poor football? It would be nice for Simon to give some explanation as to why he sets up the team like he does, but all we'll hear is the usual with the sending off used as an excuse!

It was awful, how they can just keep playing the long ball up to the strikers when they're up against 6' plus centre backs is beyond me, all that happens is that it comes straight back there just seems to be no other idea in there heads. And as for Jonathan Margetts being taken off what a joke he certainly didn't look best pleased when he walked passed on his way to the dressing room. Will we see him again..

Overall rubbish why won't Weaver just walk away..

I've just noticed on the Town web site that the last managers word was 17th May 2013 is he to embarrassed to talk now about his list of failures.

Maybe May 2013 was a landmark day ..... the last time Town put more than four passes together on the deck!

Realistically Town are in a relegation battle .... so we can expect the football Town play to get even uglier .....

The tactics are the issue, we have brilliant players at our disposal.

Nothing to do with the players as individuals.

Can we please have more midfielders....
4 strikers = 4 players that want goals.

They are less interested in defending which leaves our 2 central midfielders hugely exposed.....

Almost feel sorry for our back 4 and goalkeeper at times... They didn't particularly play badly, just no protection AT ALL....

Just a very disappointed fan....
