no going well so far... and not scoring again....

comon mr weaver and co im a teenager with no football experience (apart from school and junior level) and even i can tell letting our two most inform scorers go will lead to scoring problems

    Well that was crap

The pitch was crap, BPA were crap and we were crapper...........The crappiest thing about tonight though was Nowakowski and Samuels sending off.

Firstly, we played hoof ball right from the start and if I am been honest it is the only way we can play when Adam starts...He has a terrible touch and to play passing football you at least need 2 center mids with some slight footballing ability...If I was playing alongside him I wouldn't be confident enough to pass to him either!!.......Am I the only one who can see this?? He was terrible on the pitch tonight, didn't even win a header, which is his only attribute....To make it worse you have a player on the bench with real pedigree in Woods, yet he doesn't get a look in and my line of thought is, don't worry about height in the other team, let us play our own game and the opposition can worry about us!!......Just what is your game Weaver?? Are you purposely trying to miss out on playoffs? Are you purposely trying to play players out of position?? I just don't get it, at least tell us so we can lower our expectations.

Secondly - Samuels should be fined to high heaven, that guys needs a boot up his ass. To get booked for dissent is a joke - do they never learn? Fair enough we were playing crap but they never looked like scoring until his stupis sending off.

Anyway we have screwed our playoff chance and next season we will be mid table fodder, where we belong!

what do you expect with a clueless manager? he got lucky with Knowles and Platt now they have gone we are stuffed, we will finish below Bradford now, who would have thought that a few weeks ago? i knew after Mondays game against a mediocre side we would struggle tonight and we have, i just don't know where the goals are coming from now, we should have invested in 2 proven goalscorers when we knew we would lose these 2 players but we did it on the cheap and now we will pay for it, low attendance reduced income for the rest of the season

Adam is not good enough nor is jonny allan nor is paul beesley nor is matt bloomer. A more ruthless (and that's putting it politely) would have released them some time ago.

Hardly surprising that danny holland scored. Doesn't really matter if you play like garbage when you have matchwinners like danny and scooby in your side. Unfortunately we don't appear to have any.

Well if we blow it, it will purely be down to team selection.

Agree we were very poor last night, they were a poor side as well and if we just gt back to playing football on the ground then we would have surely got something out of the game IMO. Yes the pitch was awful one of the worst I have seen so yes it doesn't make pass and move football easy with all the bobbles etc but good players can get on with it gauging weight of pass etc. Agree again that Adam is not a silky technical player , get him playing centre back so he can win the headers, play it out from the back to the likes of woods etc who can pick a pass. I can only think that the management looked at the pitch and thought we can't play pass and move on this so plan B was to go long ball. Lets get back to playing our game and getting back on track.

Walked past the ground today and the pitch is rolled, pretty dry and looking good in this balm early summer weather!
I am really optimistic about Saturday and Tuesday too - six points could make the situation look very different by Wednesday!
Either way, lets just relax and enjoy the games coming up, we are 6th in Blue Square North and the club is moving forward strongly. Energy sappers rarely build teams, start businesses or leave a lasting legacy. There is a great spirit among the players in the sheds, so lets show our support on these forums and when they run onto the paddock.

Bolder will sort it out, as long as he gets a better playing partner in the center.......Should be him and Woods, forget Chibs if your not going to play him up front. I'm even contemplating boycotting games if Nowakowski stays in the team - That is how strong I feel about his lack of ability in that position at this level!!!

There seemed to be a lot of yellow cards issued. 3 against BPA and 6 against us (including Samuels 2)

Was it that kind of game?

Yeah the ref didn't help the situation, was frustrating both teams, lots of stop starts where he could have played advantages....The majority of bookings came late on, the ref seemed to frustrate both sets of players and the tackles were getting worse as the game went on.
