HARROGATE TOWN SUPPORTERS CLUB - MEETING UPDATE

Hi all, last night we had our first supporters club meeting which was attended by a passionate group of supporters, all wanting to help establish our supporters club. We elected the following :

Chairman : Martin Lynch
Secretary : Barry Moakes
Assistant Secretary : Andy Harrison
Treasurer : Phil Harrison

It was agreed the above would hold post for the remainder of the season and then it would be reviewed.

The purpose of the club is threefold :

1. Raise funds and awareness for HTFC throughout the community.
2. Raise funds for the Supporters Club to invest in members benefits.
3. Raise funds for our nominated good cause which was agreed to be The Little Red Bus Company.

Membership Costs :
Adult £10
Under 16/Concessions £5
Under 8's Free

Full membership benefits will be agreed at the next meeting but what is proposed will be very good value for becoming a member.

We also discussed repeating the FREE ticket game incentive and have pencilled in two potential fixtures, once confirmed, it will be announced shortly.

Two aims we discussed were TARGET 600 - lets try and make this our average home gate by the end of the season and MEMBERSHIP 50 - this would be a great start to have over 50 members on board by the end of the season.

We can all play our part to working towards these two aims. By simply talking up all the positives that are going on at the club, the excellent facilities and the family friendly nature of our club are all so positive, we should be spreading the word with pride !

Lastly, many thanks to Ged for arranging the venue to get the ball rolling.

Our next meeting is at 7pm on Thursday 7th February and EVERYONE is very welcome, all you need is positivity !

Sorry l could not make last nights meeting re the supporters club, but l will be joining & will be able to attend the next meeting

whould like to join but if the meetings are on week nights will never be able to attend

i whould be willing to pay the money at a game or whatever and try to make it down in the school holidays

Well, it was discussed last night that when we are up and running, we will be promoting the Supporters Club at HTFC home games, as it is the most logical time to get more HTFC fans to join the supporters club.

There will be plenty of opportunity for you to become a member :-)

Thank you Martin for posting all the details from last night's meeting. Thank you too to everyone who gave up their time to attend the meeting. I had an ill child and my wife was away on a residential course so I was not in a position to attend. Good luck to the Supporters Club so lets all get behind it and make a difference in how we support the team and club in the future.

Is there a planned home game for the launch of the supporters club?

Is there a planned home game at all Seriously though this is great news (cheering me up with all the endless postponements), and I will certainly be joining. Good to see Phil Harrison involved again.

Congratulations on being voted the Chairman and a great move forward for the club . I will certainly join up but dont make home games . There might be up to 3 of us coming to the Brackley game in a couple of weeks , so if your going can we pay you then ?
