The home kit (Simon Sturdy) sees the return of the black and gold stripes whilst the away one (Leon Scott) is Blue and White.

I must admit I was no fan of the Canterbury strip, so a welcome return to the stripes for me.

Firstly I've got to say I was big fan of last years kit, thought was really smart and very modern and contemporary, although I know a lot of traditionalists would not want a move away from the original stripes. But never thought that nike were ever gona make a bad kit really did you? Looks very smart, will probs end up buying it anyone know when it will be in the club shop, and how much?

Secondly, how orange is Leon Scott!! Looks like he enjoys a sunbed and some fake tan.

That could possibly be a bit of photo processing not rending the colours properly, here is a better photo:

New kit looks good. Would be better with a black v neck band imo, but agree its good to have the stripes back

Great to see the stripes back again...thanks Alan! Looks very smart although I dont really care for the white v-neck collar. And also, I know that it makes reading numbers easier, but I don't care for the current fashion of a plain back, but then I'm picky! Like the away strip as well.

There will be info coming soon, a lot of stuff is being formalised behind the scenes.

The board are very strict on the fact that info regarding anything to do with the club isn't released until all t's are crossed and i's are dotted. Saves a lot of aggravation down the line.

I will however see what info I can get and stick it on the website as soon as possible.

    Thanks

Like it. Wasn't sure about the non-symmetrical stripes at first but now I think both kits look very good.

But when was that picture (those pictures) taken?

There's grass on the pitch - and it ain't there on the update photo's you've put on the club site.....

Erm, they were taken approx 6.30 pm on Fri Aug 07 2009.

It's an old kit, the new one hasn't been released yet!

I will get pictures on the website ASAP.

I'm now very very confused. I admit I didn't really look at who was modelling the kit, but apart from thinking I'd seen the away kit somewhere before, I didn't pick up that it was an "old" kit at all.

To be fair, I think we can blame Big Lundy for this confusion! Very Happy

He reused an old thread about the same topic (it's good to recycle however!)

I am hoping that there will be some news about the kit soon - I keep pestering the club!

I really like this kit, especially the home kit, it's good to see proper home colours being used. I thought that they could have done more with the away kit than just blue, but it's certainly better than a grey kit Laughing bring on Hinckley!

Also, seeing as this kit will be available to purchase in the refurbished club shop, will other items be available also, for example, harrogate town scarves? I've been trying to buy one for ages but only replica kit has been on sale

Obviously this section is still to be updated!
A lot of fans were after scarf’s last season, but none were available for some reason!
    Scarf’s this season?

Great to see the stripes back! And the away strp isn't bad either: i'd have liked a strong red or something but the blue is striking and smart. Amazed the club has not been able to find a shirt sponsor as yet, but I actually rather like seeing the shirts without any name on. Don't suppose it will last.
