    Woken up by torrential rain this morning - given the fragile nature of the new pitch, surely Saturday's game must be in real doubt?

    I believe that there is a pitch inspection planned for ? Tomorrow. Keep checking official site for updates to Saturday's game status.

    If it is called off, it won't be for want of trying in my opinion. As I said elsewhere, after the game against Alty last week, I was worried about the pitch. However on Saturday it looked pretty good to me.

    I'm hopeful anyway.
