Chris Emms joins the Town revolution!

Simon today has added attacking midfielder Chris Emms to the squad.

Highly rated and "able to beat people at ease" Chris joined Town ahead of a quite a few clubs (including ones in our division).

Chris, 24 started off at Middlesbrough as a trainee, before playing for Newcastle Blue Star and ECU Joondalup of Australia.

Just searched some stuff about him on google and he looks a very good player BUT looks like we will only have him for 1 season. Neutral

Long-term injury to a key player
Chris Emms may have played his one and only game for ECU this season. Chris arrived from Newcastle Blue Star but suffered a severe hamstring strain one day after accepting our offer. He had not played for 6 weeks and was withdrawn within 15 minutes of the cup tie against Perth. It is now likely that Chris will return to UK but has promised to return in March 2010 with another former ECU player Dave Able. Despite the set back Chris has enjoyed his time in Perth and is intent on a return back to show his true quality
