A bit of an odd team selection:

    Jordan Myers
    Danny Wilkinson
    Dominic Roma
    Adam Nowakowski
    Richard Pell
    Jake Picton
    Ciaran Toner
    Steve Bowey
    Lee Ellington
    Gary King
    Andy Hutchinson

    Matt Bloomer
    Graeme Armstrong
    Craig James
    Kyle Hadley
    Martin Foster

Why the hell is Armstrong on the bench?

Weaver's same old disgusting mug on the article photo, same old rubbish on the interview. We were a dirty team on the pitch today at times, that's obviously a tactic of Weaver's; we were lucky to keep all the men on the field until Myers got sent off - Bowey could have gone among a few others.

I was at the game today also. It was a good performance, and I was especially impressed with Jordan Myers in goal. The referee had an absolute shocker today, as did the linesmen.

The problem I seen is that we have no balance in the squad at all. We have an extremely talented squad, apart from a natural right winger, which we dont seem to have. When he bought on Kyle Hsdley, we looked a totally different proposition. We looked dangerous, and threatening everytime we attacked.

With the starting XI, it has be natural positioned players, playing in the correct position. Not strikers on the wings, or defenders upfront. Some of Weavers tactical selections do confuse me, as the majority of fans must be also. All they have to do is get natural width in the squad and keep the ball on the ground.

I dont think we deserved to lose the game today, we deserved a draw at least, and I dont believe that Myers deserved to be sent off, even some of the Nuneaton fans thought it was a ridiculous decision. Nowakowski put himself about and gave everything for the course, and Hadley looked dangerous when he came on also.

I still think that Weaver is not the right man for the job, and things will need to change, in order for the current squad to realise their true potential.

He was okay, a few tidy touches here and there. Good first touch, comfortable on the ball, but there were better players in the squad today.

I dont think he will have much of an impact to be honest.

Agreed it was a good performance on the whole especially bareing in mind some weird selections. Though to loose in the way we did is a joke. We should of killed the game off before Jordan got sent off. Do think it was a bad decision and i believe he'd played very well. Looked very upset as he left the pitch. You wonder what that can of done to the young lads confidence.

Still cant understand why he isnt playing two wide men, to get the ball in the box for Armstrong, with players like Hadley and Phillips at the club we have the potential to play some great football

that shouldnt happen though should it, the players weve got in centre mid have both played at a higher level, ie, bowey and Toner. and should be more than capable of us not getting demolished in there.

I know seems to be a problem, Toner is more of a attackive player i would say, but with Nowakowski back in team weve got a central midfielder who will go box to box and be able to challenge in the air. Roll on Stafford, 3 pts!

    You can't work this out?

It is totally unrealistic to expect Town to 'hang-on' to a player like Dave Syers.

Any young player performing well at a non-league club is bound to attract attention.

It would be completely wrong for Town or any non-league club to stand in a players way if he had the chance to move into league football.

Dave Syers has been in full-time education for several years and seems to have made a decision to keep a football career on hold. Now he is no longer studying he has been able to try his hand as a professional.

Good luck to him I say.

    Cheers

    Fred
