What a great game to watch .A credit to the league. We controlled the 1st 25 mins then let them into the game. Our defence with 3 at the back looks shaky especially Parker who had a nightmare. Muskwe looked a great loan player who maybe could have had 2 more goals. The front 2 of Swain and Muskwe caused problems for United and Leesley put in about 4/5 terrific crosses which should have produced more goals but in the end the great game could have gone either way.

Why do we seem to persevere with a 3 man defence when we are struggling? With Ellis and Turner on the bench and leading 2-1... 442 should have been a must.

    Positives from today:
New lad looks to have potential
Forward play was pacey , confident with some slick passing
Some great crosses in to the box
    Negatives:
    Gave away the lead twice
    Several goal scoring opportunities missed
    Defensively we looked dodgey

Last I heard Ellis had a niggling calf injury so maybe he's being spared at the moment. Just wish we could manage games out or just be more clinical in front of goal!

Can't see why he's not on then especially with Ainge sidelined for this and next game. Maybe he doesn't fit a back 3 is only thing I can think?

Ellis did struggle in a back 3 against Darlington I think but if he's fit then he should start. We've never really looked comfortable with 3 at the back anyway. You need the right players for this.

Really like the look of the new lad up front. Caused their defence problems and worked well with Louie.

Thought Leesley had a great game and his crosses were causing some serious problems.

Disappointed to only come away with a point as thought our performance deserved more.

    Still undefeated in 2017.

And 5 points off the play off! Still a long sht but we are still not out of it. Win on Saturday will be essential. It will be good to see some famiiar faces as well, Worsfold, for example.

That should be 'long shot', not any potential alternative!
