Very impressed by today's performance. Don't think it's quite right up front. We had a team who ran for the full 90 mins and a gem of a player in Falkingham. Hope he continues to perform to the standard he set today. The defence were solid apart from the one major cock up in 2nd half when our keeper did very well to save that open goal. Our free kicks and crossing need a big improvement. Leesley needs to let someone else have a go.

Fantastic today! New guys look great, Falkingham looks superb. Liked Thomson as well, in fact everyone, tho' I thought Ainge looked like he was part of a different team. Can he be accommodated in this new fast moving outfit? Good atmosphere today, really friendly and relaxed. Programme looks promising as well. In fact everything was great. Really excited now about the season. Watch out Salford!!

Agree Paul. Good performance for a pre season and solid game for both sides. All round top day with off field operations appearing to run smoothly and with a smile. Chips were so good my lad cleaned me out for a second portion.

I should give a mention to our two returners, Ryan and Jordan. I have been a bit sceptical but looks like I was wrong (again!). I thought Fallowfield was excellent as an attacking right back and Thewlis really looked up for it. Great to see Dom score as well.
