Asked this question a million times but what's are starting lineup going to be? Can see Kudo starting but heaven alone knows who else up front? With Day on loan, could Chib get the nod? or do we string 5 across midfield?

Simon seems to have written Chib out of his plans. Never really given a chance this season. Very sad, and frustrating!

Same starting XI as last week is what Weaver said on this evenings interview on radio York. Kuda up front with Swain.

Thought we played well last week. Happy with that.

Swain and Kudo will do me. Swain held the ball up well last week but had a good scoring chance which he fluffed. Kudo looked a bit like a fish out of water at times, especially early on, but did enough later to suggest he just needs to settle into the team and with a bit more confidence could be a good un for us.

What are your thoughts on a JP/Kudo partnership?

Where to start! 1-0 up to lose 3-1. Fair play to trinity, thought the Thewlis played well but got what we deserved out of that game.

What a load of garbage we were today but credit to Gainsborough who deserved to win. I keep on about 3 at the back being no good  . Our defence is full of holes. We went to a back 4 after halftime but failed to have any shots on target.  How many crosses were over hit or failed to reach a Town player.  That's the end of our playoff aspirations.

Bloody hell, how bad was that? Answer: very bad indeed. And some of these guys are hoping to be full time next season? Trinity were OK and fully deserved to win.We were back to good, old headless chicken mode, a Simon Weaver speciality!

To me it looked like an end of season game with us having nothing to play for. Sadly, maybe that's now true. Really poor today.

Yes, win today and our season was still, just about alive, it isn't now. Still 15 meaningless games to go. So exciting?

Defensively dodgey again, but the pacey fast flowing attacking play of last week that gave some balance to that game was replaced by boom ball. Thought we were beginning to move away from those bad old days and utilise the strengths of our team- our players can play football! Even if the style of play was to try to exploit some weakness of theirs, it clearly wasn't working. So frustrated.

Defence, midfield and attack all completely outplayed by the division's 4th from bottom. I can't remember coming away from another game over the past 2 years without some positive to dwell on.

Very worrying too that, presumably, a number of these dreadfully under performing players will be offered full time jobs next season. Doesn't bode well does it?

If you’ve watched Town for a long period of time one thing you will have learned is that it’s very rare for the club to have successful seasons back to back on the pitch!
