Have the Club asked for volunteers to clear the snow yet or are they just going to let it thaw on the pitch and waterlog the ground?

No need to bother now.
As there is no update on the Official site, I may as well tell you on here.
Saturday's game against Stalybridge has been switched to Bower Fold with a 1.30pm kick off.

Is this for real? Townfan is normally very reliable. Presumably Stalybridge are more optimistic about their ground being fit to play? Any more info Townfan? Oh well, better start checking the train times...at least it is (normally) an easy trip from Leeds.

Yup, its on the Stalybridge fans forum too...where dos Townfan get all his info? Mind you they say their pitch has 6 inches of snow on it and they are calling for volunteers on Friday morning to help clear the pitch (and ice on the car park!). Query: is this our away game with Celtic or will it officially be our 'home' game? Anyway thanks for the 'heads up' Townfan

Me again (sorry!), train from Leeds 8 minutes past the hour, takes about 35/40 minutes. 10 or 15 minute walk from the station to ground.

It is our away game, we are now at home to Stalybridge on Mar 6th (if the cold snap has gone by then!!).
By the way, I got the info from Stalybridge's web-site earlier this morning.
