What a bunch of officiating Muppets.
Pull it up for unsportsmanlike behaviour and give a free kick to Braintree. That's the rule that gives the Referee discretion to consider actions against the spirit of the game.
Not a great believer in this kicking the ball out malarkey as too often players stay down to wrestle an advantage away from the opposition. It should be the Referee's decision to halt play, and nobody else's.

Very poor IMO, should really have let Braintree put the ball into the net with all the Guiseley players standing still allowing them to score from the restart...Simples.

If I was a Guiseley official, player, supporter or building contractor I would be ashamed after that. Comical to read their forum trying to justify it.
